El Niño

Today I learned that...El Niño is defined by prolonged differences in Pacific Ocean Sea surface temperatures when compared with the average value. The accepted definition is a warming or cooling of at least 0.5 °C (0.9 °F) averaged over the east-central tropical Pacific Ocean.
I will apply my learnings about the...El Niño in my daily life so that I can be prepared if ever it will occur.
Learning about El Niño is important because it's effects may affect people's property or it can bring danger to people's lives. If we have enough information, we can be prepared.
On a larger scale, I will share my learnings about El Niño to others for them to know and to be knowledgeable about this phenomenon.
